My name is Dale, and I am honoured to walk alongside you on your counselling journey.
Within each of us lies a tapestry of emotions, memories, and reactions that have been woven together through our unique life experiences. I believe that exploring and understanding these experiences is the key to unlocking personal growth and transformation. Through my own journey, I have encountered both moments of profound love and devastating loss.
I have experienced the depths of grief, mourning the loss of loved ones and even a career that once defined me. I have journeyed through the highs and lows of parenthood, navigating the complexities of family dynamics and the delicate balance of being a partner and a parent. I have witnessed firsthand the impact of mental and emotional struggles, supporting those I cherish through their own battles with illness, abuse, and addiction. I have also cared for my husband through multiple health challenges, experiencing firsthand the emotional rollercoaster that illness can bring into a family’s life.
Every experience, both joyous and painful, has contributed to the person I am today. I carry no regrets, as I have come to embrace these experiences as profound lessons that have shaped my understanding of the human condition. I am continually learning and growing, embarking on my own journey of self-discovery.
In addition to my personal experiences, I have pursued formal education to enhance my ability to guide and support others. I hold a Bachelor of Psychology and a Diploma of Counselling, equipping me with a solid foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of counselling.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Macquarie University, Sydney. This foundational degree gave me a deep understanding of human behaviour, emotional development, and the science behind mental health and wellness.
I furthered my studies with a Diploma of Counselling, accredited by the Australian Counselling Association. This training refined my skills in empathetic listening, therapeutic communication, and evidence-based counselling strategies tailored to individual needs.
I am a Level 1 Member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), the leading professional body for counsellors in Australia. This membership ensures I adhere to strict ethical standards and continue to grow through ongoing professional development.
